Supporting you whilst you study

Moving to a foreign country can be daunting. At HIBT we recognise this and so offer our students the support of a dedicated team of Student Support Offices who are here to provide a number of services to cater to the needs of our students.

The Student Service Officers are available for consultation in the HIBT office between 8am and 5pm each day Monday to Friday. We also have a 24 hour, seven (7) days a week emergency help line, so our students and their families are always able to contact us, even outside of office hours.

Health

The Medical Practice on the College Lane Campus is staffed by a team of medical practitioners and nurses who are available to all students without charge. The Practice has been specifically established to meet the needs of students living on campus or in the surrounding area. As an HIBT student, you will be entitled to the full benefits of the UK National Health Service with free access to doctors and hospital facilities if you are here for at least six months. You will be required to make a fixed charge contribution of approximately £6.50 per item towards the costs of any medication you may need.
