Pre Masters in Law The Pre-Masters in Law programme prepares students for an LLM, Master in Laws, at the University of Hertfordshire. It is designed for those students wishing to undertake the LLM who hold a degree or equivalent in a Law or non-Law discipline, such as Business, International Relations or Political Science. The programme is also suitable for those who have not met the minimum entry requirements to enrol directly into the LLM. The Pre-Masters in Law commences in June and October each year. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates transfer to the LLM and their chosen specialisation at the School of Law. Programme structure Pre-Masters – (2 Semesters) Core modules: Semester 1 (commences February and June)
(students with 5.5 IELTS or equivalent can gain exemption from this semester) Semester 2 (commences June, October)

Fees Pre-Masters in Law (without English semester): £4,200 Start Dates The Pre-Masters in Law commences in June and October. School of Law – Excellent for research The LLM (Master of Laws) degree offers its students the opportunity to develop an area of expertise, such as ecommerce law, international commercial law, intellectual property law, maritime law or telecommunications law, whilst postgraduates can go on to study at MPhil or PhD level. The School also runs a Common Professional Examination (CPE) programme and Legal Practice Courses (LPCs) offering access to further professional study. |
