Undergraduate Pathway Programme - Mass Communications
Course Description
This programme will prepare students for entry into the Second Year of the University of Hertfordshire BA (Hons) in Mass Communications . This is the University of Hertfordshire's preferred pathway for International Students wishing to pursue this degree, offering the opportunity to study complementary subjects in Film, Journalism, Digital Publishing and Media Culture.
Students benefit from the small group teaching at HIBT, and are instructed by University of Hertfordshire approved lecturers for the duration of the programme. Mass Communications is currently taught within the School of Humanities on the University of Hertfordshire's brand new de Havilland Campus but will form part of the new suite of courses offered by the forthcoming, state of the art, School of Media Studies.

The sector includes publishing, television and film, advertising, design and marketing. If you have a qualification in Mass Communications, employment opportunities are extensive - both in the UK and around the world. To enable students to take advantage of this, HIBT offer a unique media and communications pathway.

International Foundation – Certificate Level (2 Semesters)

Fees
International Foundation, one (1) semester (minimum IELTS 5.5 entry): £4,200
International Foundation, two (2) semesters: £6,200
Diploma Level, two (2) semesters: £7,200
Start Dates
The International Foundation in Mass Communications programme commences each semester at HIBT: February, June and October.
The Diploma (1st Year Degree) only begins in our September/October intake and follows the University’s normal academic year.
