Programme start dates

Our courses are engineered to best fit our students needs. With three intake semesters, HIBT pathways ensure that whichever course you are interested in, progression onto the University of Hertfordshire is guranteed, on successful completion of the programmes.

The international foundation programmes (IFP) for business, mass communications, science and engineering, life sciences and law run in each semester with the majority of students starting in September or January to move onto the diploma the following September.

In addition to the IFP, HIBT also offers one semester version, allowing qualified students exemption from semester one therefore only allowing much quicker progression.

Our Diploma of Business begins each semester with the winter and spring intakes being most poplar as they allow matriculation into the second year at the University of Hertfordshire the following September.

The Diploma's of Mass Communications and Science and Engineering only begin in September and are taught in conjunction with the first year of the University.

The Pre Masters in Law only starts in June as you then move onto the LLM at the University of Hertfordshire’s Law School the following September.
