“HIBT is a diverse institution of education that has facilitated the link between international students and the University of Hertfordshire. I partly chose HIBT because it provides a robust foundation to get into the University of Hertfordshire. The teaching quality at HIBT is outstanding! Lecturers are extremely helpful and there to help you at all times in a friendly environment. The class sizes are also very small which facilitates better student-teaching interaction. I found the Learning Resources Centre (LRC) particularly helpful as it is very well stocked with thousands of books and has free internet access. Since HIBT is an international college, it is a great way to meet people from different countries and cultures.

Living on campus has been great for me as it has meant I have got to know people not only from my own course, but other courses too. It also gives a glimpse of university life as we interact with students from the University of Hertfordshire. There are very impressive shopping and leisure facilities on campus and plenty of places to eat good food. I would say that living on campus has been an extremely animated and fun experience!

This has been my first time visiting and living in the UK and I must say that is has definitely been a phenomenal experience for me. Hatfield itself is a nice and green place to live, which combined with the tranquillity of Hertfordshire creates an ideal learning environment”.
