At HIBT we recognise that student activities add a significant element to student life. Not only do they provide a welcome break from lectures and studying, but they create a social and sporting outlet where student's can meet new people, make new friends and broaden your interest.

As soon as our students enrol at HIBT, they are automatically members University of Hertfordshire Students' Union. The Students' Union is a democratic organisation that, in essence, is run by students for students. The Students’ Union receives a yearly grant from the University to run a number of services for all students studying at the University of Hertfordshire and HIBT. The services available include a programme of social entertainment and activities, running of the student restaurants and bars, a full group of clubs and societies, and help and advice with specific issues encountered by University of Hertfordshire and HIBT students.
